About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Executive Manager Corporate Services, you’ll play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and embedding Alwyndor’s governance, enterprise risk management, quality assurance and compliance frameworks across the organisation.

 

You will provide expert advice to Executive and leaders, ensuring the organisation meets all legislative, regulatory and accreditation requirements while driving a strong culture of accountability, continuous improvement and risk awareness.

 

This is a strategic and hands-on role where you will influence organisational systems, strengthen governance maturity, and support leaders to effectively identify, manage and mitigate risk across all service areas.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of governance, risk and compliance frameworks
  • Maintain and enhance the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and organisational risk register
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and ensure timely organisational response and compliance
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, accreditation processes and continuous improvement activities
  • Develop and deliver compliance reporting systems, dashboards and executive reporting
  • Oversee complaints, feedback systems and quality improvement reporting
  • Provide expert advice to Executive and managers on strategic, operational and emerging risks
  • Support Business Continuity, Emergency Management and Disaster Recovery planning
  • Promote a strong culture of governance, risk awareness and continuous improvement
  • Deliver training and build capability across the organisation in risk, compliance and quality.

About You

You are a confident, analytical and influential professional who thrives in a complex, regulated environment and enjoys working across all levels of an organisation.

You bring a practical and strategic approach, with the ability to translate legislation and regulatory requirements into effective systems and everyday practice

 

You will also have:

  • Demonstrated experience in governance, risk, compliance or quality management within a regulated environment
  • Experience developing and implementing governance and enterprise risk frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of audit processes, accreditation and compliance systems
  • Ability to interpret legislation and regulatory standards and translate into organisational practice
  • Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing capability
  • Experience preparing reports and advice for Executive leadership or governance bodies
  • Tertiary qualification in Governance, Risk Management, Quality, Business, Health Administration or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

You must also be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate before commencing employment as well as a functional assessment.
