About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing and processing Alwyndor’s payables, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with organisational policies.

 

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant you will work closely with managers, and leaders across the organisation.

  

Responsibilities:

  • Processing and reconciling supplier invoices and payments accurately and efficiently

  • Managing invoice matching, purchase orders, and vendor statements

  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and approval processes

  • Assisting with month-end reporting, accruals, and audits

  • Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and responding promptly to queries or discrepancies

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to system enhancements

About You

  • A Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounts payable role (aged care or healthcare experience highly regarded)

  • Strong knowledge of invoice processing, payment management, and financial systems

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and exposure to invoice automation or workflow software

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Strong attention to detail and time management abilities

You must also be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate before commencing employment as well as a functional assessment.
