About the opportunity 

 

The Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis reports to the Executive Manager Corporate Services, and forms a key part of the finance team. The role works closely with the operational teams and external stakeholders including auditors, regulatory bodies, outsourced operators, customers and their families, suppliers and contractors.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support organisational goals.

  • Deliver high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and performance insights to guide executive decision-making.

  • Oversee revenue cycle management, ensuring accuracy in billing, claims, compliance, and audit readiness.

  • Drive financial efficiency through effective cost control, resource optimisation, and process improvement.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.

About you

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused finance professional with:

  • Degree qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.  
  • 7 – 10 years proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within aged care or healthcare 
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.  
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities.  
  • Aged Care sector experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) 

You must also be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate before commencing employment as well as a functional assessment.
