About the role We are seeking a full-time permanent Gardener to join our team of committed and passionate professionals. In this role, you will provide a range of high-quality gardening services to older people living in their own homes in the south-western metropolitan community. Key gardening duties include (but are not limited to): - Basic landscaping to ensure safety of clients
- Lawn mowing
- Tree & shrub pruning and weeding
- Removing of garden rubbish
- Basic irrigation
- Basic planting
- Eliminating pests
- Smoke alarm checks
- Gutter cleaning

We are looking for people who: - Are skilled in provision of gardening services (Essential)
- Have a genuine commitment to helping older people retain independence at home
- Are responsible, well organised, and able to prioritise workload effectively
- Demonstrate empathy, respect, and the ability to work with older people and their families/carers
- Understand and comply with confidentiality requirements
- Are reliable, honest, and trustworthy
- Can complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Understand the needs and strengths of older people
- Have a basic knowledge of aged care legislation and responsibilities (e.g. Elder Abuse, Code of Conduct, duty of care)
To be considered for this role you must - Be prepared to undertake a police background check and a functional assessment (Provided by us)
- Hold a Current SA Drivers Licence
- Have a Current First Aid Certificate (can obtain on job)
