About the Opportunity As a part of our amazing Allied Health team you will be exercising significant clinical judgement whilst providing superior service to our clients. You will assist older people to maximise their independence and quality of life through the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy services, which are aligned with the philosophy and values of Alwyndor Aged Care, government guidelines, and professional standards and ethics. The physiotherapist role is a part time maternity leave cover, working Monday, Tuesday and Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Assessing and managing clients referred for physiotherapy
- Selecting and applying measures of physiotherapy interventions that reflect current best practice
- Liaising with other allied health professionals and stakeholders as required
- Ensuring that written and electronic records are compliant with professional and legal standards
- Delegating appropriate tasks to therapy assistants and monitor that these are performed safely and effectively
About You We are inviting applications from individuals with experience or recent graduates seeking to commence their career. You must have a current AHPRA registration and have a passion for working with older people. Prior experience working in the Aged Care industry, whilst not required, will be highly regarded. You must also be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate before commencing employment as well as a functional assessment.
