About the Opportunity We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our Therapy & Wellness team. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of life and independence of older adults through assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. You will work flexibly with clients across our community programs and residential services, with the day of work flexible based on client needs Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based treatment plans Provide therapy to improve speech, language, voice, fluency and swallowing function Deliver dysphagia assessment and mealtime management strategies Educate clients, residents, families and carers on therapy strategies and recommended equipment Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional and legal standards Collaborate with GPs, allied health professionals and other healthcare providers (with client consent) Remain current with best practice and emerging research
About You You are a motivated and compassionate physiotherapist with: Degree qualification in Speech Pathology Current AHPRA registration Demonstrated experience as a Speech Pathologist Strong knowledge of speech, language and swallowing disorders Current Driver’s Licence Evidence of right to work in Australia
You must also be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate before commencing employment as well as a functional assessment.
