About the Opportunity

 

The Finance Officer – Revenue is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of revenue-related transactions across Alwyndor’s Community and Residential Aged Care services. Working under the Senior Manager Finance, this role will assist with day-to-day finance functions, including:

  • Managing billing, receipting, and accounts receivable transactions

  • Monitoring and actioning revenue-related correspondence

  • Maintaining accurate client funding and financial records in AlayaCare and other systems

  • Preparing and submitting funding claims and reconciliations

  • Investigating discrepancies and escalating issues where required

  • Supporting reporting, compliance, and revenue data analysis

This role is ideal for someone looking to specialise in revenue management within a regulated aged care environment.

 

About You

 

We are seeking a motivated, efficient, and customer-oriented finance professional. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Business (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience in aged care finance, particularly with Home Care Packages, CHSP, Support at Home, or Residential care programs (desirable not essential)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management/financial systems (AlayaCare experience desirable)

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to process high volumes of data

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

You must also be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate before commencing employment as well as a functional assessment.
