About the role

We are seeking a Casual Gardener to join our team of committed and passionate professionals. In this role, you will provide a range of high-quality gardening services to older people living in their own homes in the south-western metropolitan community.

Key gardening duties include (but are not limited to):

• Basic landscaping to ensure safety of clients
• Lawn mowing
• Tree & shrub pruning and weeding
• Removing of garden rubbish
• Basic irrigation
• Basic planting
• Eliminating pests
• Smoke alarm checks
• Gutter cleaning

This role suits people with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a flexible approach. You will build lasting, trust-based relationships with clients, their families, and your team.

About You

We are looking for people who:

• Are skilled in provision of gardening services (Essential)
• Have a genuine commitment to helping older people retain independence at home
• Are responsible, well organised, and able to prioritise workload effectively
• Demonstrate empathy, respect, and the ability to work with older people and their families/carers
• Understand and comply with confidentiality requirements
• Are reliable, honest, and trustworthy
• Can complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Can work independently with minimal supervision
• Possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Understand the needs and strengths of older people
• Have a basic knowledge of aged care legislation and responsibilities (e.g. Elder Abuse, Code of Conduct, duty of care)

About the Opportunity 

Provide a range of cleaning and services on a scheduled, around the facility which include;

• • Building entrances, reception and office areas
  • Café, lifestyle hub, therapy services and meeting rooms
  • Toilets and other common areas
  • Resident rooms, including bathrooms
  • Clean upholstery, carpet using equipment
  • Window cleaning
  • Floor scrubbing
  • Removing rubbish and dirty laundry
  • Washing and sorting laundry 
  • Unpacking and delivering laundry 
  • Unpacking stock 
  • maintaining standards of hygiene and minimise risk of contamination
  • identifying and logging issues which require maintenance intervention as required

Availability:

You will be available to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, with shifts including:

Monday to Friday: Between 7:00am and 3:00pm
Saturday and Sunday: Between 10:00am and 3:00pm

To be considered for this role you must have:

Previous working experience as a Housekeeper/Cleaner preferably in an aged care or hotel environment.

• Be able to work independently
• Good availability 
• Skills to be able to keep busy and active 
• Ability to lift and move linen and cleaning equipment

About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Accountant – Revenue this is a hands-on and analytical accounting role supporting Alwyndor’s Community and Residential revenue cycles.

You will work across claims, billing, receipting, client funding records, reconciliations, revenue journals and financial analysis. You will also partner with operational teams to identify issues, improve processes and strengthen revenue assurance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant who enjoys combining technical accounting, analysis, systems and stakeholder engagement and wants to see the direct impact of their work within a purpose-driven organisation

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support end-to-end revenue-cycle activities across CHSP, Support at Home, residential aged care and other funding streams.
• Prepare, submit and reconcile revenue claims and billing, resolving rejections, variances and outstanding items.
• Process and reconcile Community and Residential cash receipts through AlayaCare and Care Systems.
• Prepare and post accurate revenue journals with appropriate supporting documentation and audit trails.
• Maintain accurate client and funding records and investigate data exceptions.
  Perform reconciliations between source systems, remittances and the general ledger.
• Develop client-level analysis to identify revenue-assurance opportunities and provide meaningful operational insights.
• Support reporting on demand, service utilisation and employee productivity.
  Contribute to system changes, user acceptance testing, process documentation and implementation activities.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant aged care funding, claiming and reporting requirements.

About you

You are a qualified accountant with strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills and a genuine interest in understanding how revenue processes work from end to end.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  Strong financial analysis and reconciliation skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
  Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Demonstrated ability to investigate issues, identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
• Ability to analyse financial information and provide clear, practical insights to support operational decision-making

Desirable

• Experience in aged care or health services revenue-cycle management, including claims, billing, receipting or reconciliations.
• Experience using AlayaCare, Care Systems or comparable aged care client-management and billing systems.
• CPA or CA qualification, or progress towards completion.
• Knowledge of Australian aged care funding, claiming and reporting requirements.
• Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades or user acceptance testing

You must also be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate before commencing employment as well as a functional assessment.

Duties Include:

• Personal Care (Showering, toileting and general hygiene)
• Medication (prompting and administrating)

• Assist with shopping and provide general social support 
• Domestic Duties (cleaning, meal preparation and laundry)
• Communicate the clients health and well-being, and progress to support coordinator.

To be considered for this role you will have...

• A Certificate III in Aged Care or similar
• A current Driver's Licence 
• A reliable vehicle that will pass a Vehicle Safety Checklist
• A current First Aid certificate or we can organise
• At least 6 months experience caring for the elderly in their own homes preferred but not mandatory

About the Role

The Support at Home Care Partner plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and support of older people. You will develop and manage individualised care plans and budgets in collaboration with clients, their families, and healthcare providers. You will support the delivery of high-quality home care services and provide guidance to home care team members and clients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop, maintain, and update individualised care plans with clients, families, and healthcare teams
• Monitor service delivery and reassess care needs as required
• Provide advice on service selection, self-management, and future care options
• Act as the primary contact for clients and families, addressing concerns and facilitating access to services
• Manage budgets, monitor funding, and meet productivity targets
• Maintain accurate written and electronic records in line with legal and professional standards
• Deliver services according to organisational policies, legislation, and Aged Care Standards
• Support continuous improvement and ensure property and equipment are secure
• Build and maintain positive relationships with consumers, families, service providers, and government agencies
• Promote a consumer-focused culture and resolve issues efficiently with empathy and transparency

Essential Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience in case management, assessment, planning, and evaluation of services for older people
• Knowledge of aged care legislation, funding, policy protocols, and duty of care obligations
• Current driver’s licence and registered, roadworthy vehicle

Desirable:

• Diploma or degree in Human Services, Health, Community Services, or related field 
• Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Basic knowledge of legislation such as Elder Abuse, Code of Conduct for Unregistered Health Practitioners, and duty of care.
• Demonstrated experience in all aspects of case management including comprehensive assessment, re assessments, planning of services within budget, problem solving and the provision and evaluation of services for older people
